Union Certs

Union Certificates - or 'Certs' - are the only currency accepted within the territory of The Union. When a world is absorbed into the Union hegemony, whatever currency they previously used is forcibly traded in and discontinued. Some border facilities exist for converting other types of currencies, but as trade is discouraged with outsiders, they're few and far between.
